I've been trying
to think about you
you
and the girl before you
checking these bottles
for a drop of love
to drink
or lick
and taste
a little bit
to remind myself
of how love tasted like
don't mind me
I don't miss you
or your taste
but I miss
being in love with you
and it's taste
and as
the clock hits 4
in the morning
and I fill my glass
with whiskey
for the 4th time tonight
and light
my 4th cigarette today
I think
that why
I need to try
to think of you
or the girl before you
when I need
to think about love
and butterflies
and pain
why am I not in love
why am I
not broken hearted
