I just really like my earphones.
so when
you leave me
alone
with the silences
when you hang up,
I still like to keep them on
and I like to close my eyes,
maybe
because
that way
I still feel close to you
somehow,
for a few seconds
or maybe
just maybe
I just like the world half-muted.
