A Letter to Whoever Finds This Website

letter2025

Hi.

I don't know how you got here. Maybe someone sent you the link. Maybe you Googled something weird and this showed up. Maybe you're from the future and websites are vintage and you're reading this in a museum.

Either way. Welcome.

This is my corner of the internet. It's not a portfolio, though there's work here. It's not a blog, though there's writing. It's not a resume, though you can figure out what I do if you read long enough.

It's just... me. The honest version. Or as honest as anyone can be on a website they designed themselves.

I'm Ishan. I'm 27. I build things for a living and write about what it feels like to be alive, which is sometimes wonderful and sometimes confusing and usually both at the same time.

I believe in magic. I believe in cold emails. I believe in showing up for things you're not ready for. I believe the universe is paying attention, even when it doesn't look like it. I believe in poetry as precision, not decoration. I believe in road trips and bad instant coffee and 3 AM and the boys and Amir Khusrau and northern lights and Liverpool Football Club.

I believe the plan is there is no plan. And that's worked out surprisingly well so far.

If something on this site made you feel something, I'd love to hear about it. If something made you think, even better. If you read all of this and thought "this guy is full of it," that's fair too. At least you stayed long enough to form an opinion.

The contact form is right there. I respond to everything. Even if it's just "nice site."

Especially if it's just "nice site."

Khush raho.

-I.R.
